CYON FLEX · Vienna · Independent creative practice

Independent work.
Shared possibilities.

Art, music, literature, comics, film, performance and independent publishing by Tara Ann-Marie Allen, B.A.

I am developing my independent creative business and looking for people and organisations to invest in, commission, sponsor or support the work.

Twelve pages introducing the practice, projects and ways to work together.

01 / The practice

One practice.
Many ways to connect.

CYON FLEX brings together an established body of visual art, recorded music, performance and independent publications. Some works stand alone; others form part of larger projects. My aim is to connect this work with sustainable production, publishing, distribution and direct sales.

02 / Ways to work together

Find your place in the work.

01

Business development

Discuss a partnership supporting the creative enterprise, its catalogue, sales infrastructure and long-term development.

02

Projects & commissions

Support a defined publication, artwork, recording, exhibition or performance, with an agreed scope, budget and schedule.

03

Sponsorship & patronage

Help make independent creative work and public resources possible through project sponsorship or patron support.

03 / Project opportunities

Work already taking shape.

SUCCESSION

An independent magazine series combining writing, original artwork and editorial production. Opportunities include printing, publishing and distribution.

Visual art

Handmade collage, painting, drawing and constructed paper. Opportunities include exhibitions, commissions and agreed editions.

Music & live work

A recorded catalogue dating from 2009 alongside songwriting and performance. Opportunities include releases, live presentation and licensing discussions.

Literature & comics

Literary and visual storytelling, including LAGOON, a manuscript in development. Opportunities include editing, illustration and publishing.

04 / The approach

Clear agreements.
Creative independence.

Each partnership begins with a conversation about the work, the intended outcome and what each person contributes. Budgets, deliverables, credit, rights and payment terms are agreed for the individual project.

Supporting a project does not automatically transfer ownership of existing artwork, music, writing or other creative rights.

Let’s talk
